I was born somewhere on the other side of the world -in the near of Melbourne, Australia- as where I spend the shorter part of my life. However, I grew up in the Netherlands and the first language I used to speak isn't that easy for me anymore ... But, I do my best. (Dutch isn't that easy for me either)At the age of eleven I received as a present my first camera, a two eyed Lubitel, I was immediately sold... Years and years later, ahum, my girlfriend bought me a Canon EOS 1000 fn, that was the beginning of my 'Canon age'. The next Canon was the 'EOS 50E'. Then the digital age showed up around the corner. My first digital camera was a Fuji Finepix Z4900. Nice but not what I expected. I exchanged it for a Nikon CP 5700. With a few Canon lenses left in the dust somewhere in a drawer, I was very happy when the EOS 10D was introduced. I like to 'shoot' animals, for this purpose I use a Canon 100-400 4.5-5.6 IS, Canon EF 300 f/4 L IS USM and the 70-200 f/2.8L IS II. Sometimes combined with a Canon TC 1.4.Other lenses: Canon 17-40 f/4 L, the 100 mm f/2.8 USM Macro and the 24-105 f/4L USM. My last purchase is the Canon EOS 1D MK III, a fast camera to use beside my good ol' EOS 5D.
